Welcome to Paradise! 🌴
Your smooth arrival is our priority. Since Punta Cana International Airport (PUJ) is the busiest in the Caribbean, knowing exactly where to go will save you time and stress.
Below is your guide to navigating from the plane to your private EasyCana transfer.
Step 1: Immigration & Flight Tracking
Upon landing, you will be directed to the immigration hall.
Requirement: Please ensure you have your Dominican Republic E-Ticket QR Code ready.
Terminals: PUJ has two main terminals (A and B). Usually, your terminal is determined by your airline, but operational changes can occur.
đź’ˇ Pro Tip: Stay Connected
We highly recommend keeping your phone charged and connecting to the free airport Wi-Fi while you are in the immigration line or waiting for your luggage. We usually stay in communication with our clients to make the arrival process as smooth as possible.
đź’ˇ Pro Tip: Terminal Changes
In rare cases (about 2 out of 100 flights), the airport may switch the arrival terminal at the last minute, and this may not appear immediately on tracking apps. If you are unsure where you are, connect to the free airport Wi-Fi, confirm your location with an airport employee, and message us on WhatsApp. We will guide your driver to you right away.
Step 2: Important Information for Groups Arriving on Different Flights
If your group is arriving on different flights, please make sure to mention this in the notes area during checkout.
If you did not include it during booking and are reading this now, please let us know as soon as possible by email or WhatsApp so our operations team can coordinate your arrival properly.
Case 1: Same Terminal, Different Flights
If all passengers arrive through the same terminal but on different flights, the greeting and pickup will be based on the last flight to arrive.
The passengers who arrive earlier should wait inside the terminal for the later flight so the group can exit together. This is the most comfortable option, as outside the terminal it is usually hot, crowded, and there are very few seats available.
Case 2: Different Terminals, Different Flights
If the flights arrive through different terminals, the pickup will also be coordinated based on the last flight to arrive.
Once the last arriving group is received, the full group or vehicle will proceed to the other terminal to collect the remaining passengers.
For this reason, it is very important that each group keeps at least one phone charged and connects to the airport Wi-Fi if possible, so they can stay in communication with:
-
the other members of their group, and/or
-
our operations team
This allows us, or the first group already received, to notify the other passengers when we are on the way to pick them up.
Step 3: The “Timeshare Corridor” (Crucial Step)
After collecting your bags and passing customs, you will walk through a corridor before reaching the exit.
Warning: You will see many counters and people in uniforms offering “Information,” “Free Maps,” or “Welcome Drinks.”
Action: Please ignore them and keep walking. These are timeshare sales representatives, not airport officials. Stopping here can delay your exit by 20–30 minutes.
Step 4: Meeting Points by Terminal
Private drivers are not allowed to park directly at the curb; they wait in a designated lot until you are ready.
📍 If landing at Terminal A: Continue towards the passenger departure corridor; you'll see a black sign that says "Authorized Taxis" with an arrow pointing to the right. All the transportation companies are located there, and the representative will have a sign with your name and the EasyCana logo.

📍 If landing at Terminal B: Exit through the sliding doors and you’ll see a café called El Refugio right at the terminal exit. Just a bit further ahead is the area designated for all transport companies. There you’ll find many tablets and signs displaying customer names—look for yours alongside the EasyCana logo. If not, our representative will be waiting in that area holding a sign with the EasyCana logo.

Step 4: Meet & Greet
Once you identify your greeter, he will call the assigned driver who is waiting nearby and will escort you to the vehicle.
🟢 Can't find your greeter? Don't worry.
If you exit the terminal and do not see our representative immediately, please do not panic. Since we handle multiple arrivals, our greeter might be momentarily away escorting another group to their vehicle just a few yards away. We have not forgotten you.
Where to wait: Please stay in the following specific spots so we can find you easily:
-
📍 Terminal A: Walk towards the sign that says "Authorized Taxis". Wait near the large wall that says "Welcome" (written in multiple languages).
-
📍 Terminal B: Wait directly at "El Refugio" Cafeteria, which is located right outside the exit doors.
What to do: Connect to the free airport Wi-Fi and send us a quick message via WhatsApp, Telegram, SMS, or Email. We will immediately alert our representative to head straight to your location to receive you.
đź’ˇ Important Reminder:
For a smoother arrival, we strongly recommend keeping your phone charged and staying connected to the airport Wi-Fi, especially while passing immigration, collecting luggage, or waiting for the rest of your group.
